This was originally a first year university project that ended up getting the attention of Big Potato Games. It was originally called "Erm?! The Unforgiving Word Game" and then was picked up by Big Potato in 2022 who further developed the concept to become "You Can't Say Umm".
As of March 2o25, You Can't Say Umm has generated £3 Million in global revenue and sold over 350,000 units globally. It can be purchased internationally in the USA, Canada, UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, China, etc.

Turns out, the game is very addictive, so much people will burn through cards quite fast. It's also very versatile to adding new elements such as new cards. This expansion adds 100 new cards, 50 A cards and 50 B cards, all containing adult themed words.
So only play after dark when there's no kids around!

Achievements & Awards

Scottish Kelp was the winning proposal for the Royal Society of Arts Student Design Awards in 2022 for the Steel Appeal Brief. The brief was sponsored and supported by The Scottish Government, Decom North Sea, Zero Waste Scotland, Scottish Enterprise and Construction Scotland Innovation Centre. The Aims were to create a circular economy from the remains of decommissioned oil rigs in the North Sea whilst reducing the potential waste and carbon emissions.
The end project was "Scottish Kelp" a circular economy that uses the "Jackets" (Stand) for growing and farming kelp in an easy to expand grid system, whilst the "Topsides" (Living & Working Quarters) were placed nearby coastal communities to become processing units and kelp nurseries to then sell to companies and encourage them to work in the area.
This would generate a new farming system that could be easily replicated across coastal areas in and outside of Scotland (Gulf of Mexico, African Coasts, Etc). The farming system also improves biodiversity in the area as the seaweed is grown on cylindrical artificial reefs material that's designed to sink to the sea floor and continue growing, creating new habitats for the local sea population and increasing their numbers.
Scottish Kelp would provide new jobs in rural areas, allowing locals to have access to high paying jobs and improve their economy and natural environment.
